Today Seychelles Companies did not appear in black on the new G20/OECD blacklisted tax havens and alleged offshore jurisdictions. This goes to show the ongoing dedication that the jurisdiction has with maintaining a level of international involvement while at the same time providing services and maintaining the ever so delicate balance between the “onshore world” and the “offshore world”. What does this mean for companies and individuals who may wish to use the jurisdiction in the very near future? Since the Seychelles Company did not end up on the coveted blacklist published by the OECD, potential users can rest assured that the country will provide the highest level of privacy as well as secrecy while allowing the end user the ability to conduct business in a tax free environment with the non tax haven status. With this being said, the potential that Seychelles Companies offer is more than what many are expecting. By not being blacklisted a company or an individual can rest assured that the jurisdictions is doing its utmost to maintain the best possible legislation as well as agreements between countries while preserving the right of all incorporated entities to conduct business under tax free legislation. This will also pave the way for the easy opening of offshore banking accounts in other jurisdictions which will provide a stronger base for conducting business on an international level. All in all, Seychelles Companies continue to rise above the rest and prove their worthiness in the offshore sector.
